Zaylix
Driver Drowsiness & Distraction Monitoring
SOLUTION SPECIFICATION

Driver Drowsiness & Distraction Monitoring

Catch fatigue and distraction before it becomes a crash.

Zaylix's in-cabin detection models identify driver drowsiness, distraction, phone use, seatbelt non-compliance and hands-off-wheel moments from a single cabin-facing camera, in real time.

PROBLEM & SOLUTION BREAKDOWN

Operational Challenge & How Zaylix Solves It

Moving from reactive surveillance footage review to automated real-time operational response.

The Industry Challenge

Current Friction & Risks

Fatigue and distraction are leading causes of fleet and commercial driving incidents, and by definition they are invisible to anyone reviewing footage after the fact. The moment that matters is the moment it is happening.

The Zaylix Automated Solution

How We Solve It

  • Detects eye closure, yawning and head-pose patterns consistent with drowsiness.
  • Flags phone use, gaze-away-from-road distraction, and hands-off-wheel moments.
  • Checks seatbelt presence and correct routing, and basic occupant posture.
  • Built to run on a single in-cabin camera, not a full hardware retrofit.
DEPLOYMENT ENVIRONMENTS

Designed for Critical Operations

This solution integrates seamlessly across multiple high-stakes commercial and industrial settings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Technical & Deployment Clarity

Got questions about edge hardware, setup, or accuracy? Here are direct answers.

What hardware does this need?

A cabin-facing camera positioned near the rear-view mirror or dash. If your fleet already has dash cameras, we assess whether they are usable as-is.

Is this tested on real vehicles yet?

The detection models are built and tested in development; we have not deployed this on a live commercial fleet yet. We are upfront about that with anyone evaluating it, and can scope a pilot.
