General & Platform
Do we need to buy new cameras?
No. Zaylix runs on the CCTV and NVR infrastructure you already have. We confirm what's workable on your specific cameras in a free feasibility review before anything is deployed.
Is this facial recognition or biometric tracking?
No. Zaylix is biometric-free by design. We detect behavior, objects and events, not identity.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on camera count, sites and the specific detections you need. We don't publish a flat price because it genuinely varies, book a feasibility review and we'll scope it honestly.
Do you have a completed client deployment we can see?
We're early-stage and tell every prospect this upfront: our detection models are tested and working, with real POC footage, but we don't yet have a completed, independently-owned live deployment. We offer a free feasibility review and can scope a short pilot on your own cameras.
How is this different from just recording footage?
Most CCTV is passive, footage reviewed after something's already happened. Zaylix runs AI on the live feed so detections and alerts happen in real time, and every alert is human-verified before it reaches you, so you're not chasing false positives.

PPE & Safety Compliance Detection
Do we need to buy new cameras for PPE detection?
No. Zaylix runs its detection models on the CCTV you already have, as long as the camera resolution and mounting angle are workable. We confirm this in a free feasibility review before anything is deployed.
Can it tell the difference between zones that require PPE and ones that don't?
Yes, detection zones are configured per camera, so an office or break-room camera isn't flagging the same rules as a shop floor or active construction zone.
Do you have a completed PPE detection deployment we can see?
We are early-stage and honest about it: we have tested, working detection models and POC footage, but no completed live client deployment yet. We offer a free feasibility review and can run a short pilot on your own cameras.
Intrusion & Perimeter Detection
Will this replace our security guards?
No, it's built to make them more effective, not to replace them. Zaylix does the constant watching across every feed and surfaces only the real events, so your team can respond instead of reviewing hours of footage.
How fast are alerts?
Detection and verification happen in real time as the event occurs. Response time after that depends on your own escalation workflow, which Zaylix can plug into.
Does this involve facial recognition?
No. Zaylix is biometric-free by design. We detect behavior and presence in a zone, not identity.
Fire & Smoke Detection Using CCTV
Does this replace our fire alarm system?
No. Zaylix's visual detection is an additional layer of early visibility, not a substitute for certified fire alarm, detection or suppression systems. It is meant to catch what cameras can see that point sensors sometimes can't, faster.
What triggers a false alarm?
Steam, dust, fog and bright reflections can resemble smoke to a camera. That's exactly why every Zaylix alert is human-verified before it reaches you.
ANPR / License Plate Recognition
Does ANPR need special cameras?
It works best with a camera that has a clear, reasonably close view of the plate, day and night. We check your actual camera setup in a feasibility review rather than assuming it will work.
Can it integrate with our existing gate/access system?
That depends on what your gate hardware supports. We scope integration feasibility case by case rather than promising blanket compatibility.
Loitering, Occupancy & People Counting
Is this facial recognition?
No. Zaylix counts and tracks presence and movement, not identity. It is biometric-free by design.
How accurate is the count?
Accuracy depends on camera angle, density and lighting at your specific site, which is exactly what we assess in a feasibility review before committing to numbers.
Driver Drowsiness & Distraction Monitoring
What hardware does this need?
A cabin-facing camera positioned near the rear-view mirror or dash. If your fleet already has dash cameras, we assess whether they are usable as-is.
Is this tested on real vehicles yet?
The detection models are built and tested in development; we have not deployed this on a live commercial fleet yet. We are upfront about that with anyone evaluating it, and can scope a pilot.
